Public and private hospitals have Accident and Emergency (A&E) departments which are available to treat serious problems.
A&E treats severe injuries or serious illnesses, such as loss of consciousness, severe pain, chest pain, large cuts and wounds and breathing difficulties. A&E departments are always open (24/7); no appointment is needed.
